Technical description of Sant Pere Canyon

To get to know Sant Pere Canyon a bit better, here’s a short technical description of the activity:

Sant Pere Canyon is one of the best beginner canyons in the Lleida Pyrenees. Its orientation keeps the canyon sunny all morning, which makes our route ideal for cooling off during spring, summer and autumn.

The route starts at the Font de la Figuereta spring, one of the entry points to the Collegats Gorge. From there we’ll walk for 45 minutes towards the start of the canyon, enjoying views of the conglomerate rock walls and spotting the large number of vultures found in the area.

Get ready, because the canyon starts strong with a 6-metre slide to put you to the test. The 1-kilometre route takes us along the waters above the Collegats conglomerate, with small slides and drops, all the way to the final section, where we’ll find a 7-metre rappel.
